A gentle beginning for your baby's nervous system
Network Spinal, adapted with light, age-appropriate care for infants.
Birth is a major physical event, and the months that follow bring rapid, continuous change: new movement, new positions, and new demands on a still-developing nervous system. Some parents come in simply wanting to support their baby through this stage from as early as possible. Others come in because something about how their baby is settling has them wondering whether extra support might help.
Either way, the approach stays the same: light, precise contacts that work with the nervous system, at a pace suited to a baby's size and stage.
The contacts used with babies are extremely light, about as soft as the touch you would use to stroke your baby's cheek, and very different from a typical adult chiropractic adjustment. Network Spinal, developed for adults, is adapted here with age-appropriate care for infants.
Sessions are shorter, unhurried, and structured around your baby's comfort, with plenty of room to pause, feed, or settle as needed. You stay with your baby the entire time.
Gentle, unhurried care for your baby, with you beside them the whole time. It all starts with a conversation.
Settle in
You and your baby are welcomed into a quiet, unhurried space. There's no rush to begin until your baby feels ready.
Gentle assessment
Dr Euan observes how your baby is moving, resting, and holding tension, and talks you through what he's noticing as he goes.
Light contact
Using precise, extremely light contacts, Dr Euan works with your baby's nervous system at whatever pace your baby sets.
What next
Dr Euan will share what he observed and talk through whether further visits might suit your baby, with no pressure either way.
Allow approximately 60 minutes for your first visit. Follow-up visits are shorter, typically 10 to 15 minutes.
Please note
This approach is not a treatment for a specific diagnosis, and it is not a substitute for your baby's usual medical care. If you have a specific medical concern, please continue to see your GP or paediatrician, alongside any care here. Dr Euan is always happy to talk through your baby's situation before you book, so you know what to expect.
Dr Euan McMillan has over 20 years in practice and holds a Master-E certification in Network Spinal. He is on the Network Spinal international teaching staff, and he will always explain what he's doing and check in with you throughout your baby's session.
Many families first come to WellWellWell Sydney during pregnancy and continue after the birth, with care for both parent and baby. If you're expecting, the pregnancy page explains how care is adapted through each trimester and the postpartum months.
How gentle is the care for babies?
The approach used with babies at WellWellWell Sydney is Network Spinal, adapted for a baby's smaller, more delicate frame. The contacts are extremely light, about as soft as the touch you would use to stroke your baby's cheek, and very different from a typical adult adjustment. Dr Euan will always explain what he's doing and check in with you throughout. If you have any concerns, it's worth discussing them directly with him before your first visit, and continuing to see your GP or paediatrician for any medical concerns.
What age can I bring my baby in?
There's no strict age cutoff. Parents bring babies in from the first weeks of life through to toddlerhood. Dr Euan will assess what's appropriate for your baby's stage and adjust his approach accordingly.
Do I need a referral from my GP or paediatrician?
No referral is needed to book a first visit. If your baby has an existing medical concern, it's a good idea to keep your GP or paediatrician in the loop alongside any care here.
What happens at the first visit?
The first visit starts with a conversation about your baby and your family, followed by a gentle assessment and, where appropriate, a first session of light contact. Dr Euan will talk you through everything as it happens, and there's never any pressure to rush. Allow approximately 60 minutes.
How is this different from a paediatric physiotherapist or osteopath?
Network Spinal is a distinct approach with its own training and method, focused specifically on the relationship between the spine and the nervous system. Some families use it alongside physiotherapy or osteopathy, depending on what their baby needs.
Can I stay with my baby during the session?
Yes. You're with your baby the entire time, and sessions are structured around your baby's comfort, including pausing for feeding or settling whenever needed.
A gentle beginning
No referral needed. The practice is at Suite 301, 185 Elizabeth Street, Sydney CBD, and first visits are available Wednesday afternoons and Thursday mornings.
